I have heard it mentioned somewhere in previous episodes that some people will take on more risk or less risk depending on how much they're winning or losing. I guess the best approach is to put that into your plan to begin with, and be consistent. Doubling your account in 18 months is actually tremendous. That works out to a 5.5% gain per month (non compounding). For reference, the SPY returns 9.1% per *year* on average, taking 5-7 years to double (which is about a monthly return of 0.7%). I think the best way to use leverage is to have more concurrent (and non-correlating) trades on at one time, or to trade other assets with higher margin requirements (eg metals). You should still post the exact same amount of *risk* per trade, however. Sure you can ratchet up your exposure, but if you don't use it responsibly you're going to be burned and get into a situation where it's almost impossible to trade your way out of the hole you dug. For me, I like to use 1.618% account size as risk per trade (split into two legs). It falls into that 1%, 1.5%, 2% range that most people suggest and has that added element of being mathematically beautiful (fib ratio). Either way, the goal is to trade sustainably and consistently. Finding ways to trade with less stress is also part of that. And regarding those final bits about WFH and retirement; I'd say the goal there is to be adaptable and always learn new things. If you want more money, you either have to earn more, or spend less. In my case, it's easier to manage my expenses than to add more revenue streams on, but the goal is to do both. My thought is also that over the next 30 years, if AI and those sorts of automation take off, if you don't have to physically be present at a job, it could very well be replaceable. This is why you want to have a varied skillset, because you never know what people might require in the future.

and that's just for forex, for stocks here in europe we can only leverage 5:1, which is insane... because of a bunch of irresponsible "opportunists", now we're all grounded.

Nibbling here and there, not gonna mention which stuff. Lots are still in a downtrend or only just showing signs of potentially bottoming tho so I'm not doing a major lump-sum buy again now (my main buys were late 22 & in 23). Beam tho u can now get on cexs, but I recommend for anyone who has the know-how to still buy on-chain for all the good reasons (unless you're getting into eth-mainchain tokens then unless you have big enough bags the gas fees will cut into you too much - those one buys on exchanges or with a telegram bot that lowers the gas feed but the latter means trusting a telegram bot).

I appretiate your content mate, it is always good stuff :) Would you consider in the future to give us some details about your thought process about why specifically these alts? Me myself, I usually check the charts, the developer data, etc. to decide what I would take position in. And as such, I could learn a lot more from understanding your thought process instead of just having names :p Currently while I have some alts in mind I only consider BTC, ETH as the rest is just not worth it. Most of them are still in a downtrend against their BTC pairs ever since the last bullrun. If that changes, I will definetely fomo in. :)
